Below is an Organizational Announcement, announcing the arrival of NIDO Americas Inc 501(c)(3) released by the Chairman, NIDO Americas Inc., Mr Robert Ngwu, on August 13, 2007:
On behalf of the Board of Directors, NIDO Americas, Inc. I will like to report a major milestone for NIDO Americas Inc.
In line with implementation of the 2007 Blueprint for NIDO Americas (www.), and having received a copy of approval from IRS, the Board is delighted to officially report that NIDO Foundation, Inc. the charitable arm of NIDO Americas, Inc. chartered in the great state of Georgia, has successfully obtained from the IRS, tax exempt status, under Section 501(c)(3) of the tax code.
This means that NIDO Foundation, Inc. is exempt from paying taxes on revenue generated from activities in furtherance of its exempt function. Likewise, donors will enjoy a tax benefit since generally they will receive a tax deduction for donations given to NIDO Foundation, Inc.
While the Board continues to pursue IRS, tax exempt status, under Section 501(c)(6) for NIDO Americas, Inc. the Board will like to express great gratitude to the following individuals for their contributions in making this great achievement possible: Placid Aguwa Esq., Nkemdilim Okeke Esq., Kunle Fagbenle Esq., Molly Uzoh, Stella Onuoha, Jimi Lawal, and Professor Joseph Igeitseme.
The Board however, will like to identify, isolate, and recognize great contributions, and individual efforts from Uzoma Obi Esq. who remained steadfast and focused in pursing this to a logical conclusion, in spite of criticisms and sometimes, personal abuse from certain individuals and groups.
To take full advantage of this great opportunity for NIDO Americas, inc., the Board has set up a committee and appointed Uzoma Obi Esq., Kunle Fagbenle Esq., and Brian Ezejiofor to work out other details of our Charitable status in full compliance with IRS regulation.
In addition, the Board has approved the appointment of Prof. Joseph Igietseme, as Chairman of Fund Raising Committee, with a major task of building and organizing charitable templates for NIDO Americas, Inc. as well as, building reservoir of charitable donors’ database for NIDO Americas, Inc.
It is a great day in NIDO Americas, Inc. The Board is determined to continue on this track record as it focuses on the vision and mission of NIDO Americas, Inc.
This presents an excellent opportunity to provide a peek preview of another pending major milestone for NIDO Americas, Inc. The NIDO Database and Information System (IS) Committee headed by Dr. Victor Ozieh, is currently testing the first authentic and robust Database for NIDO Americas, Inc. Sometimes this week, NIDO Chapter Coordinators, and selected members will be provided with confidentiality agreement and access to NIDO Database for testing purpose only. After successful testing, NIDO Database and IS will be officially launched.
NIDO Americas, Inc. has finally arrived, and is poised to fulfill all its given objectives. STAY TUNED!
